In 1987 Pastors Lance and Janice Fricke planted Triumphant Church in their home and then moved to a public facility. Triumphant Church has reached out to Independence, Iowa, and its surrounding communities with a positive message of victory and encouragement. The primary ministry team of the church includes the Frickes, Andy and Amber Hudson, and Tyler Kane. This team regularly ministers in the Sunday service. We have many “dream teams” who serve through various ministries of the church as well. 

2 Corinthians 2:14 “Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” 

1. Celebration: We believe church should be enjoyable
2. Inspiration: We believe the church should be a place where people experience God’s presence.
3. Preparation: We believe the church should be a place where you are equipped to know and apply the Bible to daily life.
4. Salvation: Where you can accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord. 

Triumphant Church exists to help you discover your purpose and live the life God created for you. We believe you have a design based on your gifts and life experiences that bring a supply to the church. Triumphant Church is a great place to both discover and develop the gifts that God has given you to serve others and in the process, find a greater purpose in your life. 

Our prayer for you is that you come to know God in a greater way and find the freedom that God intends you to walk in. We desire to help you discover your purpose so you can make a difference in your world. 

Our commission is based on Jesus’ words from Matthew 28:19-20

Mat 28:19-20  Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world. 

Through our services, church planting, and small groups, we intentionally are developing disciples both locally and worldwide.
