Triumphant Church serves Independence, Iowa because we believe that Jesus is worth knowing. Each week, we take time out of our busy lives to gather together to worship Jesus because we believe above all else, Jesus is worth knowing.
We serve our kids, students, adults, and community with one goal: to engage them in the process of knowing Jesus.
GROWING IN FAITH
Kids Ministry
Our Kids Ministry provides a safe, joyful environment where children can experience God’s love in creative and engaging ways. Through music, stories, and hands-on activities, kids learn timeless truths from the Bible while building friendships and confidence in their faith.
What to Expect:

✝︎ Loving volunteers and safe classrooms

Our Kids Ministry is more than Sunday school — it’s a foundation for lifelong faith. Each week, children experience engaging lessons designed to make Scripture come alive through play, creativity, discovery. Parents feel confident knowing their kids are cared for by trained, background-checked volunteers who truly love what they do.
We also host seasonal events like Vacation Bible School to help children and parents engage in the process of knowing Jesus.
Our parents and kids are given weekly take home Bible lessons because we want our children to not just attend church, but to know Jesus.
LEADING THE NEXT
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Triumphant Church is a space where students can explore their faith, ask honest questions, and form lasting friendships. Through weekly gatherings and personal Bible study, our students are encouraged to know Jesus.

The teenage years are full of big questions and big possibilities — our Youth Ministry helps students explore both through the lens of faith. Teens gather Sundays at 9 AM for discussion, and community, building authentic relationships with peers and mentors who care deeply about their growth.
We offer students take home Bible lessons for daily Bible study that reinforce with what is discussed in our small groups on Sunday. We offer parents resources to challenge and strengthen their student’s faith at home to create disciples with the goal of engaging them in the process of knowing Jesus.
FAITH THROUGH COMMUNITY
Adult Small Group
Whether you’re new to faith or have followed Jesus for years and years, this group offers a safe place to share life, deepen your relationships, and strengthen your spiritual journey.

LOVE IN ACTION
Community Outreach
Our annual community Thanksgiving Meal at Triumphant Church exists primarily to serve others with compassion and generosity. We want to engage our community in the process of knowing Jesus, so we share His love in practical ways.
